Belle was first in many ways. My first show girl,
my first Great Dane puppy, my first AKC Champion titled dog... I co-owned her with her breeder Nikki Riggsbee. Belle was a much anticipated puppy as I was just crazy about both her mother Ch McEmn's Eleanor Riggsbee and her sire Ch OurDane's Fabulous Fabio (BOB at the 2000 GDCA National). I was so exited to be offered a puppy between these two beautiful Danes and as you can see she turned out to be just as lovely as we could have hoped for. Belle's first litter was with Tytus' grandson McEmn's Happy Trails Buckaroo (Belle is Tytus' great-granddaughter). She produced eight lovely puppies; including Lakotah CDX, CGC and American Champions Marlene, Ellen and Truman. Producing these three champions entitled her to AKC's Honor Roll status. Since she was such a good mother and produced such lovely puppies, Nikki and I bred her to CH McEmn Emily's Dickenson (Tytus). This frozen semen breeding consisted of two girls, American Champion Margaret and Marilyn (who needed three single points to earn her Championship). |

Dane Cluster in February, 2006.
